New Metallica!!! Cyanide
Not sure how many of you guys are Metallica fans, but Metallica pretty much single handedly moved me from listening to Pop Rock in middle school to full fledged Metal in high school. They’re still one of my all time favorite bands, and I just hope the new album “Death Magnetic” is awesome. This live cut is hard to hear, but it’s sounding good so far. (And rumor has it this is one of the “weaker” songs).

I’ve been listening to Metallica since 86′. I’m praying for somthing better than St. Awful. Hopefully the rest of Death Pathetic is better than Cyanide. Why would they play one of ther weaker songs when they know how much hype would be around it.

Not having heard Death Magnetic yet, I don’t know how it compares to their previous effort. Rumors I’ve read on the internets (and we all know how reliable those are) is that Cyanide is not one of the better songs.
As for why they would play that one instead of another one? Maybe that’s the only one they have memorized well enough to play live at that moment? Or maybe Hetfield just likes it. Who knows?

I have been listening to metallica since i was 13 years old and hands down they are my all time favorite band. I have seen them live 3 times now. People are pretty hard on them for the choices they have made regarding their music. I think people fail to understand what the concept of st. Anger was. The concept for those who dont know was they were going for a garage band sound except the garage band was metallica. And for that they succeeded. No st. Anger was not their best album but it was far from awful. About death magnetic i have now heard 3 songs now and so far i really like what i have heard. I have heard a song that had a ride the lightning sound. Another that had a master of puppets feel to it. So if you guys wanna good solid metallica album this is the one. Everyone is at the top of their game and i think rob their bass player adds alot and makes the rest of the guys play better and brings fresh view and ideas to the table. Lets all rock out to metallica!

i love metallica.I have been listening to them my whole life.And about St.Anger just like one of the people before me said it was not one of there better albums but at least they tried.And some people hate them because they dont like there new music but atleast they are trying to become the great band that i still belive they are but the thing is that people say that metallica “sold out” well no they didnt there fans did.So therefor they made new music because they had to and i think death magnetic rocks!!

I posted the coment above this one and this it continued.Metallica went through a very hard time when all these new and retarted bands “that try to call themselves rockers” came out.This is how there fans sold out.Lots of there fans started listening to there bands and liked it more than metallica and they lost lots of fans.Also, the world changed, it used to be that everyone loved metallica.Now its a bunch of stupid rich people that dont know what true music is.And now they have to be very carefull.

The two coments above cotinued:Metallica had to be very carefull to make new songs and it was a huge risk because if to many people didnt like it than they had no fans.This is what people need to understand, is the way metallica can make those risks to me it makes them a way better band.Metallica is and allways will be the greatest band of all time
